Section № 1 «Corporate IT development institution. The time has come?»

The highly respected participants of this “round table” weren’t chosen by chance – each of them represents the IT ecosystem that’s being created to keep our country safe. Today we can see that our ministries and funds look towards domestic IT products, and of course, the developers try hard to keep up. But what about the commercial consumers? Are we forgotten?

We’re going to talk about promoting domestic IT products (and doing it the right way!), also we’ll discuss the uniting consumers – why do we do it, what risks do we face, and what tasks do we have in front of us.

Section № 2 «Progressive software development methods as a part of business management»

Further development of IT and it’s infiltration into every aspect of our modern life is controlled by the evolution of software and applications. It’s the software that lets companies use their main competencies and key strengths in a best way possible. As most companies still think in terms of the second platform (transaction software and “client/server infrastructure”), those who get ready for the third platform, will gain success.

Section № 3 «Analyze THIS»

Несмотря на шуточное название, мы приглашаем вас обсудить в рамках секции весьма серьезные вопросы: каково текущее положение дел в области аналитики и работы с данными, и что ждет нас в ближайшем будущем.
Какие сценарии наиболее востребованы и как их реализовать? Какие технологии использовать сейчас и на что обратить внимание на перспективу? Аналитика и большие данные в облаке – насколько это нужно и реально?

In this section we’ll discuss the meaning of this word – “effectiveness”, what is it? How do we find the effectiveness of an IT project, or and IT department, company? How do we measure it? And what’s the difference between “effect” and “effectiveness”?

Section № 5 «Internet of Things»

We will discuss the current state of the IoT market (in terms of quality and quantity), its main drivers and key projects. Also we’ll talk about the application methods available for IoT in different industries. And, of course, the main topic will be the role of CIO in this trend’s development.

Section № 7 “50 Shades of Open Data”

The Opendata doctrine is one of the key trends in government management around the globe. It’s based on a principle of mandatory government database publishment – if it’s created or funded by the government, it’s got to be published.

Right now the laws of Russian Federation keep changing in a way that’s creating a possibility to maintain a dialogue with the government. How do we do it in a way that will allow us to posess the needed government data and commercialise it in our own products? We’ll talk about it!

Conflicts are just like any other random event in our life – they just happen. When you are a CIO, they become nearly inevitable. The main question is in this “nearly” thing. Are these conflicts really necessary? Why do we even get involved?
